Grant MINIATURA 4.0- dr hab. inż. Andrzej Waindok
Dr hab. inż. Andrzej Waindok, associate professor from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Computer Science are currently implementing a grant for which the National Science Center has received funding under the MINIATURA 4.0.
“My research interests include broadly understood electrodynamics and mechatronics, in particular the use of modern materials and computational methods in the design of electromechanical devices, rail accelerators, transformers” – Mr. Andrzej Waindok.
As part of the grant entitled Testing of the electrical and magnetic properties of explosive clad layered materials, tests will be carried out to determine the electrical and magnetic parameters of explosively clad layered materials. Both parameter measurements and numerical simulations of the electromagnetic field distribution in materials consisting of various layers of pure metals and their alloys will be performed. These types of materials are used in the electro-energetic, electrotechnical, electrochemical, hydro-electro-metallurgical, as well as armaments and even space industries. As part of the grant, cooperation with the Explomet company is planned, which is the only company in Poland that deals with the production of layered materials by the method of explosive plating.
