Computer Engineering

Studying in computer engineering is a multi-tasking, stable and most reliable learning system, thanks to which you will rise to silicon heights.

The studies last 7 semesters in the daily, full–time mode – S (on-site). The studies are completed with obtaining a Bachelor degree (inżynier).

Among the basic educational contents, there are e.g.: mathematical analysis and linear algebra, probabilistic methods and statistics, discreet mathematics, electrotechnology, computer-aided design, physics.

The didactic program enables the acquisition of general knowledge in the field of computer science, knowledge of the principles of operation of computer hardware and software, as well as the design of information systems and databases. At the same time, the graduate gets to know the environment of many IT systems and acquires the ability to use many programming languages of high level and machine level. The graduate also gets acquainted with the programming environments of multitasking and multi-user systems, as well as the problems of cooperation between computers and external devices and industrial process control.

Graduates acquire knowledge in the field of configuring multiprocessor digital systems and computer networks, diagnostics and operation of computer systems as well as data security and computer law. Has the ability to create software in many high-level programming languages (structured, object-oriented, component programming) as well as low-level programming (assembly languages).

Graduates are prepared to design and implement IT systems with the use of modern software engineering methods, in multi-access and distributed environments, with the use of multi-processor and cluster computers. He also has knowledge of configuring multiprocessor digital systems and computer networks, diagnostics and operation of computer systems as well as data security and computer law. The knowledge, skills and understanding of computer science issues acquired during studies allow you to take up professional work related to the operation of computer hardware, as well as the design, implementation and operation of broadly understood information systems, including computer networks and database systems.
